The IMAX is OPEN Fridays - Sundays!

Whether it's your first visit or you've been to the IMAX many times, below are some FAQs:

  • Q: Are you showing Hollywood movies?
  • A: Yes! Starting November 15, we will have Hollywood movies return to the schedule. For the latest movies and show times and to purchase tickets, click here!

 

  • Q: Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend the movie?
  • A: No. Refunds will only be issued in the event of a show cancellation.

 

  • Q: Do I need 3D glasses for the documentary movies? 
  • A: No. All of our documentary films are in 2D format. No 3D glasses will be issued for any documentary film.

 

  • Q: What payment methods do you accept?
  • A: We are accepting credit card payments only for all transactions.

 

  • Q: Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
  • A: We recommend purchasing tickets in advance. You can buy your tickets online or when you arrive in the IMAX Theater.

 

  • Q: Can I pick my seat ahead of time?
  • A: No. Our theater is general, stadium-style seating, meaning you pick your seat(s) when you arrive.

 

  • Q: Do you have Concessions available? 
  • A: Yes! Our Concessions Stand is open and has fresh popcorn, Coke fountain sodas or Dasani bottled water. Ingredients and nutritional information are available upon request.

 

  • Q: What's going on with the existing Hall of Fame building and future of the IMAX Theater?
  • A: The IMAX Theater is staying open! On April 16, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners in St. Johns County approved purchasing all assets of World Golf Foundation, Inc. including the PGA TOUR Production Building, World Golf Village (WGV) Parking, and WGV common space. Next steps for the future of WGV will be determined over the next several months based on community input from the public through online surveys and public engagement meetings.   • The World Golf Hall of Fame is now open in its new location in Pinehurst, NC. The St. Augustine location closed to the public on September 1, 2023. For more information about the World Golf Hall of Fame, click here.

 

  • Q: Are you booking field trips or groups?
  • A: We are not booking field trips or groups at this time. Tickets can be purchased individually in advance or on arrival to the theater.

 

  • Q: As a first time visitor, is there anything else I should know?
  • A: It can be chilly in our theater and lobby, we recommend bringing a jacket! The theater is a short walk from the parking lot.
